OK, I hate to get political on here ( I secretly love it!) BUT, are you frickin' serious???? We are wasting air time on what Rachel Ray wears around her neck???
Political conservative Michelle Malkin (click here for accompanying article) has her head so far up her *&$$ worrying about this crap... This is the kind of stuff that makes my blood boil.
Let's just give it a break and trust that Rachel Ray is not conspiring with Al-Qaeda, and not secretly planning Jihad in America, OK Michelle???

The Soda Gallery!

Tonight I went to The Soda Gallery, it was pretty fun seeing my friends Robert and Tony.
Earlier, I also ran into my friend Gerardo, who I hadn't seen in ages, I asked him to go to The Soda Gallery, and he did.... After, we went to Avanti (my favorite restaurant) and had dinner... I just got home a little while ago, and I feel exhausted. I just can't hang like I did when I was 25. Grace's got some miles on her now...... Anyway, here are some pictures from tonight.!

Going to Spain!!! Ole!

So, I applied for the summer study abroad program at school, not thinking I would get it, and I did.... So I'm off to Valladolid, Spain. I'm sad about leaving my Loli, but she'll be staying with Cris since they're moving back for good. I know Lauren will love to do that. She doesn't know yet, but I'm taking her to Disney World in November. A friend I went to school is not an Authorized Disney World Vacation planner, you can check out her website here. She got us an amazing deal! (less than $900 for the both of us, including air/hotel) So needless to say, she'll have a blast since she's never been!
About the trip to Spain, there's a group of 22 people going.. and we get to study at one of the oldest universities in Spain, I cannot wait to take tons of pictures. You can check out this cute little video about the program here.
I had the option of choosing to stay with a host family or live in one of the dorms at the University, so I made the decision to stay with the host family... I figured I'll be there for a month,I so might as well immerse myself in the culture to really appreciate it (even though I'll probably feel awkward, and I'm not too crazy about Spanish food).
We go to school Mon-Fri and for 4 hours a day, and I am planning 2 weekend trips. One to Paris to see my friend Issa, and then to Brussels with him. The other trip to either Barcelona or Valencia, can't decided which cousins to go see. I'm so grateful to be able to go, financial aid is covering the entire trip, and hopefully I'll be able to get a scholarship too.
Anyway, I just had to inform you guys... Until next time~

Good times, Good friends.... Goodbye WU!

I worked at Western Union for 5 years, it was the best job of my life so far..... not because of the job, but because of the people... I met some of the most interesting people and made some of the best friends.. As you all probably know, Fabian, Cristina, and Paul all worked there.. Fabian and I were the ones that worked there the longest, but everyone at WU loved the Granadas.
WU will be closing their doors in June. Forever.
The union at work threw a party for all the employees and everyone enjoyed getting together one last time... The party was for employees past and present... Here are some pictures from that!

Well, Saturday there was a broadcast for the YW.. Instead of watching it at home, the YW decided to meet up at the chapel and have ice cream after... Well, we get up to the church and there's no one there. Finally, the YW president shows up with her daughter, and it ended up being just us 4. It was kinda sad, but we really enjoyed it. Easter!

Hello guys!
Well, I tried to go to church, just ended up staying for sacrament... I think I'm getting a cold, my throat feels sore, I have the sniffles, and don't feel good... It comes at the most inopportune time since Spring Break is over.
I even forgot to take pictures of Lauren in her pretty Easter dress, I guess it's OK though since she's not 5 anymore... ( eyes welling up!)
Well... that is all I have to report for today.

Jon's Birthday

Jon and Austin came in town for a few days and we had the pleasure of taking them out for dinner to celebrate Jon's birthday! We love you Jon!~ ( and miss Austin terribly!) Wish Cris would have been able to come... but they'll be moving back soon! The new baby will be a Texan for sure!
