Simply said, I'm glad to have my grandmother here. She is an amazing woman. She has endured so much over the past century, and each and every crease on her face has a different story to tell. I love her, and I am extremely happy she is here.  Unintentionally, she's been a little ray of light in my dark days lately.

Christmas in Colombia!!

Just booked my flight to Cali, I'll be there from December 21 - December 30th. I haven't been to Colombia in roughly 8 years.Cannot wait for "La Feria"

Not a baby anymore.

 Lauren had a birthday party to go to other night, so we went to MAC to get her make up done.
When they were done, I was amazed that my little baby could look so grown up! :'(

Well, it's that time of year again for Lauren to have her pictures made. Sabrina Jenks is the sweetest!!! We went to the Botanic gardens in Ft. Worth, and had these unique shots made.
Lauren was sooooo happy. It's hard to believe my little girl is 16! I feel old. :'(
I just wanted to share these with you. I'm sad Sabrina will be moving to California. She'll make a stop in Arizona, then California.

RIP Beethoven

Our cat Beethoven has passed away. He will be missed.

I'm back.... I think.

My life has been consumed with work for the last 2 months... But now, I think I have the hang of things. I love it. The kids are great, and the teachers I work with are amazing. The first six weeks are out of the way, and I had no child fail my class. That's a good thing. So many things have happened since I blogged last. Fabian and Angie moved back to Texas from D.C. They're living in Coppell, and we're excited to have them back!! My mom went to Colombia for a week. She brought back candy for my students.. they loved it. I got a new car. Well, it's for Lauren really. She's been wanting a Ford Mustang for years!! and she'll be 16 soon, so I bought it to drive until her birthday, then I will get my dream car. Well, I'm not gonna make this very long. I'm just excited to report I love my job. So glad I stuck it out. Anyway! Here are the pictures. :)

Family Reunion !!

We attended our family reunion this past week, and it was an indescribable feeling being around all my family.. It was also a celebration for my grandmothers 85th birthday. I know most of the people who visit my blog are my friends on facebook, so that's why I've been a little slacker on updating my blog! So, not much more to say about that, pictures are worth a thousand words.. LOL

Lauren is 15!!

Lauren was with her daddy for her bday... and we only got to celebrate for a short while... her dad and sister came over, and we had cake.. we had a great time... I can't believe one more year, and she'll be driving, dating.... YIKES!!

Happy Birthday Mom!!

Cristina, Jon and the kids came over today to celebrate Mom's birthday... We had a great time, Cris went to our usual place to buy Mom's cake, she made a delicious lunch, and now we're getting ready to watch the Oscars.. Here are some pictures of Mom's special day.

R.I.P. Paris the beloved

As you may remember.... there was an addition to our family (Paris). I'm sad to inform everyone... She was Catnapped. It was a matter of time... She was really cute, and loved to sneak outside when we opened the door.
I hope someone is taking care of her, and spoiling her like we did.
